Learn the Craft · Create the Film · Direct the Future

From an idea to the final frame

A scene begins in someone's imagination. Then it becomes a story, a screenplay, a visual idea, a frame, a performance, a light, a camera movement, a sound — and finally, a film.

At G&W, you'll learn how these pieces come together to create a professional production. You don't have to arrive as a filmmaker. You arrive with the desire to create — we help you develop the craft.

Develop your director's eye

What should the audience see? Where should the camera be? How should the scene be edited?

A director constantly makes decisions — what to show, how to move, how an actor should perform, what the light should communicate, what the audience should feel. You'll learn to approach filmmaking through this directorial lens. Because directing isn't about controlling a camera. It's about controlling the story.

Questions
Do I need a camera or prior experience?

No. The programme starts at fundamentals, and studio sessions run on G&W equipment. A phone camera is enough for early assignments.

Is this an AI course or a filmmaking course?

A filmmaking course. Roughly two-thirds is traditional craft — direction, camera, lighting, edit. The Gen AI module teaches you to direct those tools with the same judgement.

What does the internship include?

A confirmed placement on live productions under G&W mentorship, with an internship certificate on completion. OJT follows separately.

Can I pay in instalments?

Yes. EMI options are available — admissions will share the schedule with your offer.

How do I apply?

Send the form below or message admissions on WhatsApp. You will get the curriculum, fee structure and batch date, followed by a short interview.
